Caramel Egg Pudding






Serves:
       4 Persons


Ingredients:
  1. Eggs - 5 Nos.
  2. Milk - ½ Cup
  3. Sugar - ¾ Cup
  4. Khowa (Khoa) - 2 Tbsp
  5. Milk Maid (Optional) - 2 Tbsp
  6. Saffron Strands (Optional) - a few
  7. Sugar - 3 Tbsp (for Caramel)


Method:
  •  Caramelization of Sugar
  1. Take the 3 Tbsp Sugar in a Round Pudding Bowl for Caramelizing.
  2. Place the bowl on the stove and put it on medium flame and stir till the sugar melts and turns into brown color.
  3. Remove the Bowl from the stove and Spread the Caramel all over the bowl.
  4. Keep the bowl aside for later.

  •  Make the Pudding

    1. Add all ingredients in a Mixer and run the mixer for a few second
    2. Now, Sieve the Mixture so that you get a Smooth & Creamy Pudding.
    3. Pour the Pudding into the bowl of Caramel & Microwave it for ½ hour (or if microwave is unavailable then we can use an idly cooker to steam the pudding for 45 minutes).
    4. When it is done, let it cool to room temperature.
    5. Invert the contents of the bowl onto a serving plate.
    6. Caramel Egg Pudding is Ready to serve.
